Yarn maker Texhong International Group Ltd. (2678.HK) said on Friday it expects to report its profit rose 75% in the first half of 2026 from the 464 million yuan ($68.5 million) profit it reported in the same period of 2025, citing strong demand from the textile industry.

The company said it also benefited from improvements to its balance sheet, which helped to reduce its financing costs during the period. Texhong’s revenue fell 1.4% last year to 22.7 billion yuan, but its profit rose 63% to 913 million yuan.

The company’s stock is up 63.6% over the last 52 weeks.
