Haidilao are a consumer product

Carmaker Chery Automobile Co. Ltd. (9973.HK) said on Sunday it sold 146,173 vehicles in February, down 14.8% year-over-year. Its cumulative sales for the first two months of the year reached 337,669 units, also down 12.5% from the same period last year.

Among its five major brands, only its namesake Chery brand recorded a slight sales increase last month, rising 2.9% year-over-year. Its other four brands saw declines, with iCAR down a modest 1.7%, while Luxeed sales plummeted 90.6%. Sales for Chery brand cars rose 3.9% year-over-year in the first two months of 2026, while Luxeed tumbled 76.3%, and the remaining brands each fell over 30%.

Shares of Chery opened down 1.3% at HK$27.10 on Monday. The stock is down over 10% from its listing price last year.
