Bubble tea chain operator Auntea Jenny (Shanghai) Industrial Co. Ltd. (2589.HK) announced on Tuesday its revenue rose 36% year-on-year in 2025 to 4.47 billion yuan ($649 million), while its net profit increased 52.4% to 501 million yuan. Its gross margin stood at 31.4%, largely unchanged from a year earlier.

The company attributed the strong revenue growth to expansion of its franchise network and higher per-store sales. Its total store count reached 11,449 at the end of last year, up 24.8% year-on-year, with more than 52% of those located in third-tier cities and below. The company also opened 45 stores overseas during the year, covering the U.S., South Korea and Malaysia.

Auntea Jenny continued to invest in product development, launching 213 new products in the reporting period. It also strengthened its brand through digital marketing, celebrity endorsements and IP collaborations. On the costs side, it further optimized its procurement and logistics, establishing a network that includes 16 large-scale warehousing and logistics centers along with multiple cold-chain facilities.

The company’s shares opened higher on Wednesday but turned lower by the midday break, trading at HK$77.50, down 0.26%.
