Chenqi Technology posts first-half loss as revenue surges

Ride-hailing platform Chenqi Technology Ltd. (9680.HK) on Wednesday reported its revenue surged 140.7% year-on-year to 4.04 billion yuan ($600 million) in the first half of 2026, as its loss narrowed 45% to 68.49 million yuan.
The company noted that intensified collaboration with third-party mobility platforms during the period, coupled with its geographic expansion, drove up its ride-hailing transaction value. As a result, its gross profit climbed to 500 million yuan for the latest six-month period, up from 195 million yuan a year earlier.
Its first-half order volume soared 150.6% to 183 million in the first half of this year, up from 73.3 million orders in the same period of 2025. Its average daily orders also jumped roughly 150.7% to 1.02 million from 405,000 a year earlier.
Shares of Chenqi opened flat at HK$7.98 on Thursday. The stock is down 39% from its 52-week high.
