Autonomous driving solutions provider Minieye Technology Co. Ltd. (2431.HK) said on Monday it signed an agreement to jointly make 3,000 driverless logistics vehicles with Ground Iron Green Technology and Shenzhen Gecko New Energy Vehicle Technology.

Under the partnership, Minieye will ensure compliance with national and industry automotive-grade certification standards. Gecko will spearhead R&D for the vehicles’ chassis systems, while Ground Iron will play a key role in product definition. By integrating their manufacturing capabilities and operational resources, the partners aim to achieve large-scale deployment of driverless logistics vehicles across a range of scenarios with enhanced efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Shares of Minieye opened up 0.2% at HK$14.98 on Tuesday. The stock is down 60% from its 52-week high.
