BRIEF: Hutchmed’s revenue drops 13% in 2025

Drug developer Hutchmed China Ltd. (HCM.US; 0013.HK) said on Thursday its revenue fell 13% in 2025 to $548.5 million from $630.2 million the previous year, as its profit rose sharply thanks to gains from the disposal of its Shanghai joint venture.
Revenue from the company’s core oncology and immunology division fell 21% to $285.5 million last year from $363.4 million in 2024, while revenue from its other ventures fell slightly to $263 million from $266.8 million over that time.
The company recorded a profit of $456.9 million for the year, which included a $415.8 million gain from the sale of its 45% equity interest in its Shanghai Hutchison Pharmaceuticals Ltd. joint venture. The company recorded a $37.7 million profit in 2024.
Hutchmed’s U.S.-listed shares rose 1.5% to $13.85 on Thursday, while its Hong Kong-listed shares rose 5.3% to close at HK$22.18 on Friday after the results were announced. The U.S.-listed shares are down about 17% over the last 52 weeks, while the Hong Kong-listed shares are down about 13% over that time.
