Vocational education platform Fenbi Ltd. (2469.HK) said on Sunday it has signed an agreement with Huatu Cendes (300492.SZ) to explore collaboration in recruitment examination preparation services. Fenbi said potential cooperation areas may include equity investment, corporate governance, technology development, distribution channel partnerships and customer service enhancements.

Fenbi indicated the tie-up could include potential integration of both parties’ infrastructure and AI application technologies to expand their revenue bases or boost operational and marketing efficiency. Huatu listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s ChiNext board in 2003. Its core businesses include construction engineering and design services, along with recruitment training, supported by an extensive network of physical branches.

Shares of Fenbi fell 5.8% on Monday to close at HK$2.46. The stock is down about 4% this year.
