iQiyi does entertainment

Online video platform iQiyi Inc. (IQ.US) named Tian Ying as its new CFO on Thursday, filling a position that was vacated in January when long-serving CFO Wang Jun stepped down after four years for personal reasons.

Since Wang’s departure the CFO position has been filled on an interim basis by Zeng Ying, who will now return to her previous role as senior vice president of finance, iQiyi said. Including Zeng, Tian is the fourth person to serve as iQiyi’s CFO in the last six years.

Before joining iQiyi, Tian was CFO for four years of the cloud and intelligent driving units of internet giant Baidu, which is iQiyi’s controlling shareholder. He worked at Huawei before that.

iQiyi’s shares fell 3.4% on Thursday after the announcement. The stock has lost nearly half of its value this year.
