AI company Unisound AI Technology Co. Ltd. (9678.HK) on Monday announced the official release of U2, which it described as an “agent-driven large model that enables the integrated delivery of full-stack development, intelligent orchestration and deep inference.”

Unisound said U2 is well-suited as a foundation for next-generation AI agents, with features that significantly reduce token usage per task, improving token efficiency.

The launch comes about a year after Unisound made its Hong Kong IPO, raising a modest HK$206 million ($26.3 million) by selling shares for HK$205 each. The stock initially rose as high as HK$856 – more than quadruple the IPO price – but has fallen since then and now trades below the listing price. It was down about 11% on Monday afternoon at HK$181.10 after the latest announcement.
