OneRobotics (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd (6600.HK), a provider of home embodied robotic systems, said on Tuesday it has agreed to pay 241 million yuan ($35 million) for 21% of Hitbot Technology (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd., a developer of software and hardware for embodied intelligent robotic hands.

“(Hitbot) has developed solutions at the system level, encompassing robotic hands, robotic arms, and specialized equipment, while achieving large-scale deployment across multiple industrial and commercial scenarios with proven product delivery capabilities and experience in adapting to specific scenarios,” OneRobotics said. It added Hitbot’s products were complementary with its own products.

OneRobotics’ shares were up about 20% at HK$110.10 in Wednesday afternoon trade the day after the announcement. The stock is up nearly 50% from its IPO price of HK$73.80 last December.
