Smartphone glass supplier Lens Technology Co. Ltd. (6613.HK; 300433.SZ) reported on Monday its revenue rose 6.5% last year to 74.4 billion yuan ($10.76 billion), as its profit rose 10.9% to 4.02 billion yuan.
Revenue from its core smartphone and computer segment rose nearly 6% last year to 61.18 billion yuan. Its smart vehicle and cockpit segment climbed 8.9% to 6.46 billion yuan, while intelligent head-mounted displays and smart wearables rose 14% to 3.98 billion yuan. Revenue from other smart devices fell 25.3% to 1.05 billion yuan.
The company said it is accelerating its entry into three emerging sectors: embodied intelligence, AI servers, and commercial aerospace. Within robotics, it has completed R&D for core components and established new production capacity, achieving batch product deliveries while securing a place in the supply chains of leading domestic and international manufacturers. In AI servers, it has secured technical certification and client approval for the server cabinet business with specific global customers. For commercial aerospace, it has overcome technical barriers in aerospace-grade materials.
Shares of Lens opened down 2.7% at HK$20.26 on Tuesday. The Hong Kong stock is up 11% since its listing last year.
