Car maker Dongfeng Motor Group Co. Ltd. (0489.HK) announced on Thursday that it sold 1.7 million vehicles in the first 11 months of the year, down 11.1% year-on-year. Its passenger vehicle sales fell 12.7%, while commercial vehicle sales fell 3%. Its new energy vehicle (NEV) sales continued to do well during the period, with cumulative sales of approximately 353,000 units, up nearly 11% year-on-year.

The group also announced that its Dongfeng Automobile Co. Ltd. (600006.SH) subsidiary recorded cumulative sales of 139,700 in the first 11 months of the year, representing a slight decrease of 1.3% year-on-year.
