Tea producer Bama Tea Co. Ltd. (6980.HK) announced on Friday it expects to report its revenue rose by at least 30% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, while its profit increased by 60% or more.

The company recorded revenue of about 1.06 billion yuan ($157 million) and a profit of about 120 million yuan in the year-ago period. Based on its minimum projected growth rates, it should report first-half revenue of at least 1.38 billion yuan ($204 million), and a profit of 192 million yuan or more.

Bama Tea attributed the growth to continued expansion of its franchise, as well as online and key-account channels, which boosted both its revenue and profitability.

Bama Tea’s shares opened higher on Monday and were trading at HK$20.32 by the midday break, up 7.23%.
