Baby products maker Softcare Ltd. (2698.HK) on Tuesday said its revenue totaled $328 million or more in the first half of 2026, up at least 28% year-over-year. Its profit for the period totaled $73 million or more, up by 40% or higher year-on-year.

The revenue growth was primarily driven by Softcare’s initiatives to deepen its sales channels, improve its production footprint and penetrate new markets, which combined to lift both sales volume and average unit prices during the period. The strengthening of many African currencies against the U.S. dollar provided an additional boost to average selling prices.

The top-line growth translated to higher gross profits, while higher bank balances after the company’s IPO last year generated greater interest income. The absence of listing expenses in the latest reporting period, unlike last year, also bolstered the company’s bottom line this year.

Shares of Softcare opened up 3.8% at HK$30.40 on Wednesday. The stock is up over 10% from its listing price last year.
