Lonking first-half profit rises 27% on quality improvement, cost controls

Construction machinery maker Lonking Holdings Ltd. (3339.HK) said on Monday it expects to report a profit of 730 million yuan ($108 million) to 800 million yuan for the first half of 2026, up 16% to 27% from a year earlier.
It attributed the growth to development and refinement of its various product lines, as well as expansion into domestic and overseas markets, which drove growth in its production and sales volumes. The company added that its initiatives to improve quality and control costs also played a role in boosting gross profit margins for its products.
Longking shares opened up 1.7% at HK$3 on Tuesday. The stock is down 10% from its 52-week high.
