EH.US

Autonomous aerial vehicle maker EHang Holdings Ltd. (EH.US) on Tuesday announcedthat it will deepen its partnership with battery maker Gotion High-Tech Co. Ltd. (002074.SZ), which is providing customized solutions for EHang’s flagship EH216 series of pilotless eVTOL aircraft and plans to extend the relationship to future model development.

The partnership’s core lies in Gotion’s newly developed 46-series cylindrical battery, which, with its high energy density and strong power output, will support and push the performance boundaries of the EH216 series — enhancing energy capacity and enabling more innovative applications. Both parties will also collaborate across EHang’s future aircraft lineup.

In the first quarter, EHang reported its revenue plummeted 58% year-on-year to 26.1 million yuan ($3.63 million), while its net loss widened to 78.4 million yuan from 63.4 million yuan over that time. The company’s stock dipped 0.36% on Tuesday before the announcement, but rebounded 2.27% on Wednesday to close at $16.66.
