Shein wins CSRC approval for Hong Kong IPO

Shares of robot vacuum component maker Shenzhen Camsense Technologies Co. Ltd. (6802.HK) soared in their Hong Kong trading debut on Wednesday, nearly doubling at the open and climbing during the morning to close at HK$173.60 by the midday break, up nearly 200%.

The company sold 11.6 million shares for HK$58.85 each, raising net proceeds of nearly HK$615 million ($78.85 million). The public offering for local investors was oversubscribed by 3,546 times, while the international offering was oversubscribed by 4.5 times. Two cornerstone investors purchased 1.87 million shares, accounting for 16.13% of the total being sold.

The company generated revenue of 196 million yuan ($29.2 million) in the first quarter of 2026, up about 49% year-over-year. It swung to a profit of 7.76 million yuan during the latest three-month period, reversing a loss of 6.67 million yuan a year earlier.

The company plans to use 65% of the IPO proceeds to enhance its R&D capabilities. Another 25% will go to upgrading its manufacturing capabilities, with the remaining 10% earmarked for general working capital.
