TCL Electronics Holdings Ltd. (1070.HK) said on Monday its television shipments rose 14.8% to 29 million units in 2024, as strong demand from abroad offset weakness in its home China market.

The company said its shipments to global markets grew 17.6% last year compared with 2024, though it did not give a figure for unit sales. European shipments for its TCL-branded TVs were particularly strong, up 33.8% year-on-year in 2024, though North American was much weaker, up just 6.4%. Its shipments in China rose by a similarly small 5.8% year-on-year.

TCL Electronics shares were up 1.2% in afternoon trade in Hong Kong on Tuesday.
